Centre notifies appointment of acting Chief Justices of Kerala HC and Telangana HC

The Union government on Thursday (13.07.2023) notified the appointment of Acting Chief Justices of the Kerala High Court and Telangana High Court.

They are;

1. Justice Alexander Thomas, the senior-most Judge of the Kerala High Court has been appointed acting Chief Justice following the elevation of SV Bhatti as Supreme Court Judge.
2. Justice Ponugoti Naveen Rao, senior-most Judge of Telangana High Court, has been appointed as acting Chief Justice following the elevation of CJ Ujjal Bhuyan as Judge of the Supreme Court of India.
