The central deputation tenure of Iva Ashish Srivastava (IAS:2010:UK) as Director of Census Operations (DCO) and Director of Citizen Registration (DCR), Uttarakhand, has been extended till December 31, 2027.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Thursday (January 29, 2026), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the extension of her deputation beyond April 2, 2026, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Iva Ashish Srivastava has been serving in the post since April 2, 2023. Her existing tenure was scheduled to conclude in early April 2026, and with the latest approval, she will now continue in the assignment for nearly 21 more months.
