The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet on Friday (05.05.2023) effected a minor bureaucratic reshuffle at the level of Joint Secretary by appointing five officers to various ministries and departments.
The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :
- Ms. Manish Saxena (IRS-C&IT:2000) has been appointed as Senior Deputy Director General (Admn.), Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), Department of Health Research for a combined tenure of seven years upto December 13, 2027. She replaces R Ramakrishnan (IAS:1998:NL).
- Gaurav Masaidan (IRS-C&IT:1998) has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Justice for a combined tenure of seven years upto November 11, 2027 vice GR Raghavender (CSS).
- Srinivas E (IRSSE:1995) has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) for a period of five years. He replaces Ms. Shruti Singh (IAS:2004:PB).
- Ms. Swati Sharma (IAS:2003:AGMUT) has been appointed Joint Secretary, Department of Rural Development for a period of five years in place of Naveen Kumar Shah (IFoS:2000:J&K).
- Ms. Mohali P Dhakate (IP&TA&FS:1994) has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Rural Development for a period of five years in place of Ms. Indira Murthy (CSS).
