Centre approves proforma promotion for 17 IRS (IT) officers to Commissioner grade

The central government on Tuesday (28.01.2025) issued orders granting proforma promotion to 17 Indian Revenue Service (Income Tax) officers to the rank of Commissioner of Income Tax (SAG) in Level 14 of the Pay Matrix.

They are;

5. Prashant Ranjan, Director, Ministry of Tourism, New Delhi
6. Vikas Singh, Director, Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas
7. Yashvendra Singh, Director (Election Expenditure), Election Commission of India
