The Modi government has appointed three new members to the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT). The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has named three 1985 batch revenue service officers as members of the apex direct tax policy making body. Ms Anu J Singh (IRS-IT:1985), J B Mohapatra (IRS-IT:1985), and Ms Anuja Sarangi (IRS-IT:1985) are the newly appointed members.
