Centre appoints four officers as Senior Managers in TRIFED

In a key development, the central government on Friday (January 9, 2026) approved the appointment of four officers—three from the Indian Revenue Service (Customs & Indirect Taxes) and one from the Indian Ordnance Factories Service (IOFS)—in the Tribal Co-operative Marketing Development Federation of India (TRIFED) under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs. The appointments are to non-CSS posts and have been made on a deputation basis for different regional offices.

The details of the officers and their postings are as follows:

1. Unde Yogesh Pandurang (IRS-C&IT:2014) has been appointed as Senior Manager, TRIFED, at Ahmedabad (Gujarat Region) for a period of four years.
2. Zainab Sayeed (IRS-C&IT:2014) has been appointed as Senior Manager, TRIFED, at Kolkata (West Bengal Region) for a period of four years.
3. Harvinder Pal Singh (IRS-C&IT:2015) has been appointed as Senior Manager, TRIFED, at Delhi (Delhi-NCR Region) for a period of four years.
4. Raj Kumar (IOFS:2012) has been appointed as Senior Manager, TRIFED, at Ranchi (Bihar–Jharkhand Region) for a period of five years.
