The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Ministry of External Affairs for curtailment of central deputation tenure of Shambhu S Kumaran (IFS:1995), Joint Secretary, Department of Defence to his parent cadre consequent upon his selection for an Ambassadorial assignment abroad.
