CBIC: Four IRS-I&CT officers promoted to Principal Commissioner grade

The central government on Thursday (03.08.2023) promoted four officers from the 1994 batch to the grade of Principal Commissioner of Customs and Indirect Taxes (C&IT) in the Indian Revenue Service (Customs and Indirect Taxes) against the panel year 2023. This promotion includes two officers who were elevated on a regular basis, while the remaining two were promoted on an ad-hoc basis.

They are;

1. Pashupati Nath Pandey (regular basis)
2. Dheeraj Rastogi (regular basis)
3. Alok Gupta (ad-hoc basis)
4. Manish Mohan Govil (ad-hoc basis)

Their regular posting will be decided in due course of time with the approval of the Competent Authority. Till then, they shall assume the charge of the promotional post on in situ basis.
