CBIC: Four 1992 batch IRS officers promoted to Chief Commissioner grade

The central government on Tuesday promoted four Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officers from the 1992 batch to the grade of Chief Commissioner of Customs & Indirect Taxes in Level 16 of the Pay Matrix (HAG+) for the panel year 2025.

The central government on Tuesday promoted four Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officers from the 1992 batch to the grade of Chief Commissioner of Customs & Indirect Taxes in Level 16 of the Pay Matrix (HAG+) for the panel year 2025. Among these, two officers were promoted on a regular basis, while the remaining two were promoted on an ad-hoc basis.

  2. Mahesh Kumar Rustagi

On Ad-hoc Basis:

  1. Mathew Jolly
