CBIC: Five IRS (C&IT) officers promoted to Principal Commissioner grade

The central government on Monday (05.08.2024) empanelled and promoted five officers to the grade of Principal Commissioner of Customs and Indirect Taxes in the Indian Revenue Service (Customs and Indirect Taxes) against the panel year 2024. Among them, three were promoted on a regular basis, while the remaining two were promoted on an ad-hoc basis.

They are;

1. Sugrive Meena (regular basis)
2. Challienkhum Songate (regular basis)
3. Istikhar Baig (regular basis)
4. Yohesh Kumar Agarwal (ad-hoc basis)
5. Venkat Reddy (ad-hoc basis)
