CBI: Two Joint Director level IPS officers’ extension regularised

Two senior IPS officers, Vineet Vinayak (IPS:1995:SK) and Amit Kumar (IPS:1998:CG), have received official extensions and regularization of their deputation tenures within the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). These extensions align with the provisions set forth in the IPS Tenure Policy of 2010.

Two senior IPS officers, Vineet Vinayak (IPS:1995:SK) and Amit Kumar (IPS:1998:CG), have received official extensions and regularization of their deputation tenures within the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). These extensions align with the provisions set forth in the IPS Tenure Policy of 2010.

In particular, Vineet Vinayak’s service as Joint Director (CBI) has been officially regularized, spanning from September 10, 2021, through September 30, 2023, while Amit Kumar’s tenure as Joint Director (CBI) has been similarly regularized, encompassing the period from September 9, 2016, to September 30, 2023.

This significant development has been formalized through an official order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training on Saturday, October 7, 2023.
