The deputation tenure of Rakesh Aggarwal (IPS:1994:HY) as Joint Director in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has been extended for a period of six months. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Monday (26.09.2022), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet is conveyed for extension in deputation tenure of Mr. Aggarwal for a period of six months beyond 02.09.2022, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
