CBDT: Two Joint CIT officers gets proforma promotion as Addl. CIT

The central government on Tuesday (28.01.2025) issued orders granting proforma promotion to two Joint Commissioners of Income Tax to the rank of Additional Commissioner of Income Tax, CBDT. Both officers are currently serving on deputation to ex-cadre posts.

They are;

1. Rajesh Dhingra, Deputy Secretary (A&PAC) Division of CBDT in the Department of Revenue
2. Vivek Gulati, Joint Director at Deputy Secretary Level in the CEIB, Department of Revenue
