CBDT: Three IRS officers promoted to Pr. Chief Commissioner of Income Tax grade

Three senior officers from the Indian Revenue Service (Income Tax) were on Friday (01.11.2024) promoted to the grade of Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax (CCIT), which corresponds to level 17 in the pay matrix. This promotion is effective for the panel year 2024.

They are;

1. Purushottam Tripuri (IRS-IT:1989)
2. Harshvardhini Buty (IRS-IT:1989)
3. Satish Sharma (IRS-IT:1990)

The officers shall continue to hold the charge of the post, which they were holding before promotion, till their formal posting is ordered.
