Three senior officers from the Indian Revenue Service (Income Tax) were on Thursday (01.08.2024) promoted to the grade of Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax ( Pr. CCIT), which corresponds to level 17 in the pay matrix. This promotion, approved by the competent authority, is effective for the panel year 2024 on an in-situ basis.
They are;
- GR Bhat
- Sanjay Bahadur
- Rahul Karna
The officers shall continue to hold the charge of the post, which they were holding before promotion, till their formal posting is ordered.
