CBDT: Six Pr. Chief Commissioners and Chief Commissioners assigned additional charges

The Department of Revenue on Thursday assigned additional responsibilities to six Principal Chief Commissioners (Pr.CCIT) and Chief Commissioners of Income Tax (CCIT) officers in addition to their current roles.

The Department of Revenue on Thursday (01.08.2024) assigned additional responsibilities to six Principal Chief Commissioners (Pr.CCIT) and Chief Commissioners of Income Tax (CCIT) officers in addition to their current roles.

Here are the details:

  1. Pankaj Kumar Mishra, Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax (OSD) and Director General of Income Tax (Investigation) in Bhopal, has been given the additional charge of Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax for Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh.
  2. Ashok Kumar Pandey, Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax in Delhi, has been given the additional charge of Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax (Exemptions) in Delhi.
  3. Jahanzeb Akhtar, Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax (NaFAC) in Delhi, has been given the additional charge of Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax (NFAC) in Delhi.
  4. Ajay Goyal, Chief Commissioner of Income Tax-2 in Ahmedabad, has been given the additional charge of Chief Commissioner of Income Tax (TDS) in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
  5. Ashok Kumar Saroha, Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, Kolkata-3, West Bengal, and Sikkim, has been given the additional charge of Chief Commissioner of Income Tax in Ranchi, Bihar, and Jharkhand.
  6. Abha Kala Chanda, Chief Commissioner of Income Tax (OSD) for UP (East), has been given the additional charge of Chief Commissioner of Income Tax in Bareilly, UP (East), and Chief Commissioner of Income Tax in Allahabad, UP (East).
