The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) on Friday (December 19, 2025) ordered additional charge arrangements for several senior Income Tax officers in the ranks of Chief Commissioner of Income Tax (CCIT), Director General of Income Tax (DGIT) and Principal Commissioner of Income Tax (Pr. CIT), with immediate effect.
As per the order, Deepali Chandra (IRS-IT:1991) has been assigned additional charge of CCIT-1, Delhi, while Mona Mohanty (IRS-IT:1991) has been given additional charge at Bareilly under the UP (East) region. Yogesh Kumar Verma (IRS-IT:1991) has been entrusted with additional charge as DGIT (Investigation), Kolkata, and Pallavi Agarwal (IRS-IT:1991) has been assigned additional charge of CCIT-3, Delhi.
Nidhi Srivastava (IRS-IT:1992) has been given multiple additional responsibilities in Delhi, including CCIT, Delhi-8, and as Member-2 (Interim) of the Boards for Settlement-I, Settlement-II and Settlement-III. In a separate arrangement, MD Tarique Kalim (IRS-IT:1995) has been assigned additional charge of Principal Commissioner of Income Tax (Central), Gurugram, under the North Western Region.
