CBDT: 7 IRS-IT officers promoted to Chief Commissioner of Income Tax grade

As many as 7 senior officers from Indian Revenue Service (Income Tax) has been promoted to the grade of Chief Commissioner of Income Tax (CCIT) (level 16 in the pay matrix). Consequent upon approval of the competent authority, these officers are promoted for the panel year 2024 on in-situ basis with effect from 01.04.2024 or the date of assumption of charge of the post by them.

They are;

2. Sanjay Prasad
3. Sayed Mohammad Jawad Abidi
4. Shantam Bose
5. Vismiya Tej
6. Reema Hota Singh
7. Manoj Pal Singh
