Brig Rajan Sharawat appointed as IG (South), Assam Rifles

Brig Rajan Sharawat, VSM, GARH RIF, has been appointed as Inspector General (South) in Assam Rifles on Monday (29.11.2021). According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), he has been appointed to the post on deputation basis for a period of 18 months from the date of his assumption of charge of the post or till his superannuation from the Army or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
