The deputation tenure of Pawan Kumar Shrivastava (IPS:1992:MP) as Inspector General (IG), Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPR&D) has been extended for a period of two years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Wednesday (08.09.2022), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal to extend the tenure of Shrivastava for a period of two years beyond 26.04.2022 i.e. 26.04.2024 (total tenure of 7 years).
