The Chhattisgarh government on Monday issued transfer and posting orders for six IAS officers including three Collectors.

AC Karmakar and several other officers have been empanelled for promotion to the grade of Additional Director General (ADG) (Medical) in the Combined Medical Cadre of Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), National Security Guards (NSGs), and Assam Rifles (ARs). A recent order from the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) confirms that the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has given approval for the empanelment of these officers to the grade of ADG (Medical) in level-15 of the Pay Matrix for the panel year 2024. This empanelment takes effect from the date of assuming charge of the post and remains in force until further orders are issued.
Mundkur Shyamprasad Kamath, Executive Director, Mangalore Refinery & Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL), has been appointed to the post of Managing Director (MD), MRPL. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Saturday (24.02.2024), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas to appoint to the post of MD, MRPL for a period with effect from the date of his assumption of charge of the post till the date of his superannuation i.e. 30.11.2027, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Ravindra Kumar, Executive Director, NTPC Limited, has been appointed to the post of Director (Operations), NTPC Limited. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Saturday (24.02.2024), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Power to appoint Mr. Kumar to the post of Director (Operations), NTPC Ltd. with effect from the date of his assumption of charge of the post till the date of his superannuation i.e. 31.10.2027, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
It’s noteworthy that the Public Enterprises Selection Board recommended Mr. Kumar for the position on October 30, 2023, after interviewing eleven candidates.

Santosh Kumar Jha, Director (Operations & Commercial), Konkan Railways Corporation Ltd (KRCL), has been appointed to the post of Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) of KRCL. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Saturday (24.02.2024), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Railways to appoint Mr. Jha to the post of CMD, KRCL with effect from the date of his assumption of charge of the post on or after 01.04.2024, till the date of his superannuation i.e. 31.03.2024, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
It’s noteworthy that the Public Enterprises Selection Board recommended Mr. Jha for the position on November 1, 2023, after interviewing five candidates.
