The Himachal Pradesh government on March 15 issued transfer and posting orders for two IAS officers.
The names of the officers and their posting are as follows;
Pradeep Kumar Thakur (IAS:2014:HP), Director, Department of SCs, OBCs, Minorities & Specially Abled with additional charge of MD, HP, Minorities Finance & Development Corporation, has been transferred and posted as Settlement Officer, Shimla Division, Shimla.
Kiran Bhandana (IAS:2017:HP), awaiting posting orders, has been posted as Director, Department of SCs, OBCs, Minorities & Specially Abled.
Sivakumar V Vepakomma has been selected as Director (Power System), Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) at a Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) meeting held on March 19, 2024. Presently, he is serving as Chief General Manager NTPC Greeen Energy Ltd, NTPC Limited.
He will be appointed to the post of Director (Power System) after receiving vigilance clearances and approval from the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet.

The Jammu and Kashmir government on March 15 assigned IPS officer Nitish Kumar (IPS:1999:J&K) , who presently serves as ADGP, CID, J&K, with the additional charge of Director, State Investigation Agency.
The Madhya Pradesh government on 16 March issued six separate transfer and posting orders, resulting in 10 IAS officers assuming new responsibilities. Additionally, two officers were relieved of the additional charges they were holding alongside their primary duties.

Patil Ketan Baliram (IPS:2010:PB) has been appointed as Additional Director in Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). According to an order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Monday (18.03.2024), Baliram has been appointed to the post from the date of joining the post and up to 26.12.2027, i.e., combined deputation tenure of five years. Presently, he is serving as Deputy Inspector General (DIG), National Human Rights Commission (NHRC).
Senior diplomat Vinay Kumar (IFS:1992) was on Tuesday (19.03.2024) named as the new Ambassador to Russia. Presently, he is serving as Ambassador to Myanmar since late 2021. He will replace Pavan Kapoor (IFS:1990), recently appointed the new Secretary (West) in the External Affairs Ministry, in Russia.
T Armstrong Changsan (IFS:1997) was on Tuesday (19.03.2024) appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Republic of Cuba. He is presently serving as Joint Secretary in the MEA and is expected to take up the assignment shortly.
