Pooja Hali appointed as Deputy Secretary in NGMA, Delhi

Pooja Hali (IRS-IT:2011) has been appointed to the post of Deputy Secretary in the National Gallery of Modern Art (NGMA), Delhi for four years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Saturday (13.04.2025), the competent authority has approved the appointment of Pooja Hali to the post under the central staffing scheme for a period of four years or until further orders, whichever is earelier.

Priyanka Mary Francis (IAS:2009:KN) has been appointed as Director in the National Gallery of Modern Art (NGMA) , Bengaluru for five years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Saturday (13.04.2025), the competent authority has approved the appointment of Priyanka Mary Fancis to the post under the central staffing scheme for a period of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Rajesh Kumar Singh gets addl. charge of Secretary of Ministry of Textiles

Rajesh Kumar Singh (IAS:1989:KL), Secretary, Department for Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade (DPIIT), has been given additional charge of Secretary, Ministry of Textiles. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Friday (12.04.2024), the competent authority has approved assignment of additional charge of the post to Rajesh Kumar Singh from 13.04.2024 to 21.04.2024 during the period of abesence on leave of Rachna Shah (IAS:1991:KL).

Vini Mahajan gets addl. charge of Secretary of MoEF&CC

Vini Mahajan (IAS:1987:PB), Secretary, Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation, Ministry of Jal Sakti, has been given additional charge of Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC). According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Friday (12.04.2024), the competent authority has approved assignment of additional charge of the post to Vini Mahajan from 15.04.2024 to 26.04.2024 during the period of abesence on leave of Ms. Leena Nandan (IAS:1987:UP).

Vandita Kaul appointed as Secretary, Department of Posts

Vandita Kaul (IPoS:1989) has been appointed as the new Secretary of the Department of Posts, succeeding Vineet Pandey (IPoS:1989) following his superannuation. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Friday (12.04.2024), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved her appointment to the position of Secretary of the Department of Posts. She is currently serving as Member (Banking & Direct Transfer) on the Postal Services Board.

Mahendra Kumar gets extension as Director in Ministry of Labour & Empowerment

The central deputation tenure of Mahendra Kumar (IRSEE:1999) as Director in the Ministry of Labour & Empowerment has been extended for one year. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Friday (12.04.2024), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the the proposal of Ministry of Labour & Empowerment to extend the deputation tenure of Mahendra Kumar under the central staffing scheme for a period of one year beyond 22.05.2024 and upto 22.05.2024 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Anurag Kumar appointed Joint Director, CBI

Anurag Kumar (IPS:2004:AM) has been appointed as Joint Director in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) through a lateral shift from the Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPR&D). According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Friday (12.04.2024), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of DoPT to appoint Anurag Kumar to the post on a lateral shift basis for a combined tenure of five years i.e. upto 24.02.2027. He is currently serving as Inspector General (IG) in BPR&D. It is important to mention here that he was empanelled for IG-level postings in the Government of India on June 12, 2023.

Arvind Kumar has been selected as Director (Refineries), Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) at a Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) meeting held on April 10, 2024. Presently, he is serving as Managing Director & CEO, Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited (CPCL).

He will be appointed to the post of Director (Refineries) after receiving vigilance clearances and approval from the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet.

Saurabh Kumar concurrently accredited as next Ambassador of India to Luxembourg

Saurabh Kumar (IFS:1989), presently Ambassador of India to Belgium, has been concurrently accredited as the next Ambassador of India to Luxembourg, with residence in Brussels. He is expected to take up the assignment shortly.
