Joydeep Dasgupta selected as Director (Production), NMDC Limited

Joydeep Dasgupta has been selected as Director (Production), NMDC Limited at a Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) meeting held on August 13, 2024. Presently, he is serving as Executive Director (Mines), Jharkhand Group of Mines, BSL, SAIL.

He will be appointed to the post of Director (Production) after receiving vigilance clearances and approval from the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet.

The following 12 applicants were interviewed in the selection meeting:

Mohan Raj Shetty selected as CMD, BVFCL

Mohan Raj Shetty has been selected as Chairman and Managing Director (CMD), Brahmaputra Valley Fertilizer Corporation Limited (BVFCL) at a Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) meeting held on August 13, 2024. Presently, he is serving as General Manager, Town Administration, Steel Authority of India (SAIL).

According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Tuesday (13.08.2024), the competent authority has approved the appointment of Ms. Sharma to the post under the central staffing scheme for period of four years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

The central deputation tenure of Kamlesh Chaturvedi (IFoS:1988:MP) as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH) has been extended till his retirement. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Tuesday (13.08.2024), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways to extend the deputation tenure of Mr. Chaturvedi for a period beyond 21.08.2024 till the date of his superannuation i.e. 31.07.2025 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
