Maharashtra: 7 IAS officers shifted, KK Pujar is posted as Dharashiv Collector

The Maharashtra government on Tuesday (25.02.2025) issued transferred and posting orders for 7 IAS officers across the state.

The names of the officers and their posting are as follows;

  1. Rajendra Nimbalkar (IAS-SCS:2007), MD, MSSIDC, has been transferred and posted as MD, SARATHI, Pune.
  2. Sanjay Yadav (IAS-SCS:2009), Collector, Mumbai City, has been transferred and posted as State Project Director, Samgra Siksha Abhiyan, Mumbai.
  3. Rajendra Bharud (IAS-SCS:2013), Commissioner, TRTI, has been transferred and posted as Project Director, RUSA, Higher & Technical Education Department.
  4. Deepak Kumar Meena (IAS:2013:MH), Additional Tribal Commissioner, has been transferred and posted as Joint Commissioner, State Tax, Mumbai.
  5. Sameer Kurtkoti (IAS-SCS:2013) has been posted as Commissioner, TRTI, Pune.
  6. Mahesh Awhad (IAS-SCS:2015), Managing Director, Haffkine Bio-Pharma Corporation, has been transferred and posted as Chief Executive Officer, Maharashtra Medical Goods Procurement Authority, Mumbai.
  7. Keerthi Kiran Pujar (IAS:2018:MH), Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, has been transferred and posted as Collector, Dharashiv.

Baldeo Purushartha gets extension as JS in D/o Economic Affairs

The central deputation tenure of Baldeo Purushartha (IAS:2002:PB) as Joint Secretary in the Department of Economic Affairs (DEA), has been extended for a period of one year. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Thursday (27.02.2025), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Department of Economic Affairs to extend the deputation tenure of Mr. Purushartha for a period of one year beyond 11.03.2025 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Jagdish Khima Rathod gets extension as CVO of Deendayal Port Authority

The tenure of Jagdish Khima Rathod (CPSE:2002) as Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of Deendayal Port Authority (DPA), Kandla, has been extended for two years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Monday (24.02.2025), the competent authority has approved the proposal to extend the tenure of Mr. Rathod for a period of two years beyond 02.06.2025 i.e. upto 02.06.2027 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Pratima Gupta gets extension as CVO of SECI

The tenure of Pratima Gupta (IOFS:1992) as Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI), Delhi, has been extended for two years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Monday (24.02.2025), the competent authority has approved the proposal to extend the tenure of Ms. Gupta for a period of two years beyond 12.06.2025 i.e. upto 12.06.2027 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Delhi Lt. Governor orders transfer of five IAS officers, three assigned to CM’s Office

In a significant development, the Delhi Lt. Governor on Thursday (27.02.2025) issued transfer and posting orders for five IAS officers. Notably, three IAS officers have been assigned key positions in the Chief Minister’s office—one as Secretary to the CM and two as Special Secretaries to the CM.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

  1. Azimul Haque (IAS:2007:AGMUT), Member (Administration), Delhi Jal Board with additional charge of CEO, Delhi Waqf Board, has been transferred and posted as CEO, Delhi Waqf Board.
  2. Dr. Madhu Rani Teotia (IAS:2008:AGMUT), on joining GNCTD, has been posted as Secretary to Chief Minister.
  3. Sandeep Kumar Singh (IAS:2011:AGMUT), on joining GNCTD, has been posted as Special Secretary to Chief Minister.
  4. Ravi Jha (IAS:2011:AGMUT), on joining GNCTD, has been posted as Special Secretary to Chief Minister.
  5. Sachin Rana (IAS:2014:AGMUT), Additional Chief Electoral Officer, has been given additional charge of Member (Administration), Delhi Jal Board.

Abhay Jain appointed as OSD to MoS Harsh Malhotra

Abhay Jain, Director, Central Secretariat Service, has been appointed as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to Harsh Malhotra, Minister of State for Corporate Affairs and Road Transport & Highways. His appointment specifically pertains to Ministry of Corporate Affairs. He will assume the charge of the post at the Director level.

According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Thursday (27.02.2025), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal for appointment of Mr. Jain to the post for a period up to September 30, 2028 (i.e. till the date of his superannuation) with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or on co-terminus basis with the Minister or till he ceases to function as OSD to the Minister or until further orders, whichever is the earliest.

Punya Salil Srivastava gets addl. charge of Secretary, D/o Health Research

Punya Salil Srivastava (IAS:1993:AGMUT), currently serving as Secretary of Department of Health and Family Welfare, has been given additional charge of Secretary of Department of Health Research. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Thursday (27.02.2025), the competent authority has approved the assignment of additional charge of the post to Ms. Srivastava from February 28, 2025 to March 6, 2025 during the period of absence on leave of Dr. Rajiv Bahl.

SPG ADG S Suresh gets one year extension

The deputation tenure of S Suresh (IPS:1995:KL) as Additional Director General (ADG) in Special Protection Group (SPG) has been extended for one year. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Thursday (27.02.2025), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Office of Secretary (Security), Cabinet Secretariat to extend the tenure of Mr. Suresh for a period of one year beyond March 8, 2025 by temporarily upgrading the post of IG to ADG in SPG, in relaxation of the IPS Tenure Policy.

Union Minister KR Naidu’s PS Shrikesh B Lathkar re-designated as Director

Shrikesh B Lathkar (IAS:2011:AP), currently serving as the Private Secretary to Minister for Civil Aviation, Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu, at the Deputy Secretary level, has been re-designated as Director in the same Ministry.

According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Thursday (27.02.2025), the competent authority has approved the proposal to re-designate Mr. Lathkar’s post to Director level with effect from the date of assumption of charge of re-designated post and for a period upto December 3, 2029 or on co-terminus basis with the Minister or till he ceases to function as Private Secretary to the Minister or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

It is noteworthy that Shrikesh B Lathkar began his central deputation tenure on December 4, 2024.
