The Uttar Pradesh government on Monday transferred 03 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers in the state.
The names of the officers and their postings are as follows:
Bimlendu Kumar has been selected for the post of Director (Personnel), Northern Coalfields Ltd. at a Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) meeting held on October 01, 2019. Presently he is serving as General Manager, Central Coalfields Ltd.
The following 09 applicants were interviewed in the selection meeting :
C. Chandramouli (IAS:1985:TN), on Tuesday, given additional charge of Secretary, Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances and Secretary, Department of Pension and Pensioners’ Welfare till the appointment of a regular incumbent. He is Secretary, Department of Personnel & Training.
Amarjeet Sinha (IAS:1983:BH), on Tuesday, was given additional charge of the post of Secretary, Ministry of Panchayati Raj till the appointment of a regular incumbent. He is Secretary, Department of Rural Development.
Asha Ram Sihag (IAS:1983:HP), on Tuesday, was given additional charge of the post of Secretary, Department of Public Enterprises till the appointment of a regular incumbent. He is Secretary, Department of Heavy Industries.
Manjeet (IPS:2015:BH) has been transferred from Bihar cadre to AGMUT cadre on grounds of his marriage to Ms. Geetanjali Khandelwal (IAS:2015:AGMUT).
Ms Aslam Khan (IPS:2007:AGMUT) has been appointed as Superintendent of Police in Bureau of Police Research & Development (BPR&D) on deputation basis for a period of four years.
Sanjay Agarwal (IAS:1984:UP) has been given additional charge of the post of Secretary, Ministry of Food Processing Industries from September 28, 2019 to October 08, 2019 during the period of absence of leave of Pushpa Subramanyam (IAS:1985:TG). He is Secretary, D/o Agriculture, Cooperation and Farmers Welfare.
Rina Ray (IAS:1984:AGMUT) has been given additional charge of the post of Secretary, Department of Higher Education from September 28, 2019 to October 7, 2019 during the period of absence on leave of R.Subrahmanyam (IAS:1985:AP). He is Secretary, Department of School Education and Literacy.
The central government on Wednesday reconstituted the Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister (EAC-PM) for a period of two years.
Dr. Bibek Debroy will continue to be the Chairman and Ratan P. Watal will continue to be the Member Secretary of the reconstituted EAC-PM.
Apart from these two Full-Time Members, the EAC-PM will have two Part-Time Members. While Dr. Ashima Goel continues to be one of the Part-Time Members, Dr. Sajjid Chinoy has been made as another Part-time Member.
