Anil Kapoor has assumed charge as Director (Human Resource), Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) on Wednesday. Prior to this appointment, he was heading the HR and Corporate Communication functions as Executive Director (ED) in the same organisation.

The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has failed to find suitable candidate for the post of Director (Finance) HMT Limited, at a selection meeting held on October 16, 2019. The PESB interviewed only one candidate, V Muralidharan, General Manager, Madras Fertilizers Ltd., for the job following which it announced that the administrative ministry/department might choose an appropriate course of action for selection.

Ms Meenakshi Gupta (IA&AS:1984), Secretary, National Commission for Women (NCW), has been repatriated to her parent cadre with effect from October 31, 2019. In her cadre she will join as Deputy Comptroller & Auditor General.
