A K Gautam takes over as Director (Finance), NTPC
Anil Kumar Gautam has taken charge as Director (Finance) of NTPC Limited on Friday. Prior to his new appointment as Director (Finance), Gautam was serving as Executive Director in the same organisation.
Gautam was recommended by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) on July 7, for the post of Director (Finance) of NTPC Limited. He was selected from a list of 10 candidates who were interviewed by the selection panel.
Upender Singh Rawat concurrently accredited as Ambassador to Nicaragua
Upender Singh Rawat (IFS: 1998), Ambassador of India designate to the Republic of Panama will be concurrently accredited as the next Ambassador of India to the Republic of Nicaragua, with residence in Panama city.
A K Singh appointed as DG, NSG
A K Singh (IPS:1985:GJ) was on Friday appointed as Director General of National Security Guard. He has been appointed as from joining date September 30, 2020 till the date of his superannuation or till furthers orders.
Presently, he is serving as Police Commissioner of Ahmedabad city.
Delhi Zoo Director Renu Singh transferred as DIGF, EF&CC
Delhi National Zoological Park director Renu Singh (IFS:1997:UP) has been transferred from the post and laterally shifted in M/o Environment, Forest & Climate Change as Deputy Inspector General of Forest (DIGF) on Thursday.
She was appointed as the first female director of the Delhi zoo on March 2, 2017.
Dr Suneesh Buxy (IFS:1998:AGMUT) will take additional charge as Delhi zoo director till a regular incumbent is appointed.
Raghavendra Singh gets addl. charge of Director, NMML
Former Union Culture Ministry Raghavendra Singh (Retd.IAS:1983:WB) has been given additional charge of Director of Nehru Memorial Museum and Library (NMML) for a period of six months or till a regular appointment is made. He was recently appointed as the CEO for development of museums and cultural spaces in the Culture Ministry.
Former NMML director Shakti Sinha’s tenure had ended on October 4, after which the post had been vacant till Mr. Singh’s appointment on Tuesday.
CCI’s P K Agarwal set to get elevated as next CMD
Pradeep Kumar Agarwal is set to get eleveted as Chairman and Managing Director at Cotton Corporation of India (CCI) Limited as his name has been recommended by a Public Enterprise Selection Board (PESB). He was selected for the post at a PESB meeting held on October 18, 2019. He is currently serving as Director (Marketing) .

P C Sharma (IRSS:1981) has recently taken over as Member (Material Management) of Railway Board and ex-officio Secretary to Government of India on October 11, 2019. Prior to this appointment, he was serving as General Manager, Metro Railway, Kolkata, from September 20, 2018, to October 10.

A K Saxena takes charge as Director (Operations), RINL-VSP
Ajit Kumar Saxena has taken charge as the Director (Operations) of RINL-Visakhapatnam Steel Plant on Thursday. Prior to this assignment, Saxena was serving as Chief General Manager (Mills) at Steel Authority of India Limited’s (SAIL) IISCO Steel Plant, Burnpur.
Saxena’s name was recommended by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) on June 3, for the post of Director (Operations) of RINL-VSP. He was selected from a list of five candidates who were interviewed by the selection panel.
