Jharkhand : Sudhir Tripathi appointed as New Chairman of Staff Selection Commission

Former Jharkhand chief secretary Sudhir Tripathi (Retd.IAS:1985:JH) was on Thursday appointed as the chairman of the state Staff Selection Commission.

Retired IAS officer was the chief secretary from February 8, 2018 till his retirement on March 31, 2019. He was further appointed as the chairman of the Jharkhand Public Service Commission on April 1, 2019. He held the post till September 26 this year.

The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission comprises of a chairman and two members. IAS officer Prashant Kumar was holding the additional charge as the chairperson, while Surendra Kumar is one of the members and the other position remains vacant.

Akshay Kumar Singh is new CMD of Petronet LNG Ltd

Akshay Kumar Singh has been declared as the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of Petronet LNG Ltd. He will take the charge of the post from Vinod Kumar Mishra, Director (Finance) of Petronet LNG, who had been holding additional charge of the CMD’s post after the superannuation of former CMD Prabhat Singh.

Tanmay Kumar appointed as Govt Nominee Director of PFC

Tanmay Kumar (IAS:1993:RJ) has been appointed as Government Nominee Director on on the board of Power Finance Corporation (PFC) Limited with effect from November 11. Presently, he is working as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Power. Kumar is also a Government Nominee Director on the board of SJVN Limited, NHPC Limited and Power Grid

He has been appointed to the PFC board in place of Mritunjay Kumar Narayan (IAS:1995:UP). This information has been shared by the PFC during the regulatory to the stock exchange on Wednesday.

Bajpai has been appointed to the post with effect from October 29 in place of Dr Amit Sahai. J&K : Four IPS officers promoted as ADGPs

The Jammu and Kashmir administration ordered promotion of 10 IPS officers of Jammu and Kashmir. As per the order, promotion to the grade of Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) from January 1, 2020, has been accorded to Dr SD Singh (IPS:1995:JK), Satish Shirmaji Khandare (IPS:1995:JK), Rajesh Kumar (IPS:1995:JK), on proforma basis, and T Namgyal (IPS:1995:JK).

The government has also ordered the promotion of Amit Kumar (IPS:2006:J&K) to super time scale (DIG) grade with effect from 01.01.2020.

It has also ordered grade promotion of Sunil Gupta (IPS:2007:J&K), on proforma basis, Sujit Kumar (IPS:2007:J&K), Vivek Gupta (IPS:2007:J&K) and Mohd. Suleman Choudhary (IPS:2007:J&K) to the selection grade of IPS with effect from 01.01.2020.

Sheema Nabi Qasba (IPS:2016:J&K) and PD Nitya (IPS:2016:J&K) has been promoted to senior time scale of IPS with effect from 01.01.2020.

Rajasthan : Lather appointment as DGP regularised

The Rajasthan Government on Tuesday appointed Mohan Lal Lather (IPS:1987:RJ) as the Director-General of Police (DGP) for a period of two years (irrespective of his date of superannuation) or until further orders whichever earlier.

Following the appointment of Bhupendra Singh Yadav (IPS:1986:RJ) as Chairman of Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC), the Gehlot Govt had assigned Lather with the additional charge of State DGP in addition to his regular charge as DG of Crime Branch.
