Haryana : Two IAS officers assigned additional charges
The Haryana government on Tuesday entrusted additional charge of different posts to two senior IAS officers.
They are :
- V. Umashankar (IAS:1993:HY), ACS to Chief Minister, Haryana, CEO, Haryana Kisan Kalyan Pradhikaran and Principal Secretary to Govt., Haryana, Citizen information Department, has been given additional charge of Electronics & Information Department.
- Vijay Singh Dahiya (IAS:2001:HY), Director General, Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Haryana and Secretary to Govt., Haryana, Agriculture & Farmers Welfare Welfare Department, has been given additional charge of Addl. CEO, Kisan Kalyan Pradhikaran.
Barun Mitra appointed as Secretary, Department of Justice
Barun Mitra (IAS:1987:MN) was on Tuesday appointed as Secretary at Department of Justice.He is at present working as the Officer on Special Duty (OSD) in the same department.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved appointment of Mitra as the Secretary at Department of Justice upon relinquishing of charge of the post by Alok Shrivastava (IAS:1984:MP).
