Telangana : 50 IAS officers transferred

In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, Telangana government on Thursday issued transfer and posting orders of 50 IAS officers in the state with immediate effect.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows:

Union Govt. notifies transfer of three High Court judges

The Union Government on Wednesday notified the transfer of three High Court Judges. Three notification intimate the transfer of Justice S. Muralidhar, Ranjit Vasantrao More and Ravi Vijaykumar Malimath.

Justice S. Muralidhar, presently serving at the Delhi High Court, has been transferred to the Punjab and Haryana High Court.

Justice Ranjit Vasantrao Mor, presently serving at the Bombay High Court, has been transferred to the Meghalaya High Court.

Justice Ravi Vijaykumar Malimath, presently serving at the Karnataka High Court, has been transferred to the Uttarakhand High Court.

HSL’s CMDE Hemant Khatri set to get eleveted next CMD

CMDE Hemant Khatri is set to get eleveted as Chairman and Managing Director at Hindustan Shipyard Limited as his name has been recommended by a Public Enterprise Selection Board (PESB). He was selected for the post at a PESB meeting held on February 27, 2020. He is currently serving as Director (Strategic Project).

The following 04 applicants were interviewed in the selection meeting :

CAT sets aside Andhra Pradesh order suspending IRS officer

The Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) bench at Hyderabad on Tuesday set aside the order of the Andhra Pradesh government suspending Senior IRS officer Jasti Krishna Kishore from service and sent him back to his parent wing of income-tax department.

The Andhra Pradesh government suspended Kishore in December last year over allegations of irregularities during his tenure as chief executive officer of AP Economic Development Board (APEDB).

The Bench comprising tribunal chairman chairman Justice L Narasimha Reddy and member BV Sudhakar gave this verdict after hearing a plea filed by Kishore. The bench, however, made it clear that the AP government was free to pursue the criminal cases it had filed against the IRS officer in accordance with law.
