The central deputation tenure of Binod Kumar (IOFS:2001) as Director in National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG) has been extended for a period of two years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Monday (07.11.2022), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Department of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation to extend the deputation tenure of Mr. Kumar under the central staffing scheme for a period of two years beyond 20.02.2023 i.e. upto 20.02.2025 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
