Bimal Julka appointed as Chairman of Federation of Indian Fantasy Sports

The Federation of Indian Fantasy Sports (FIFS), the self-regulatory industry body for fantasy sports, has appointed former Chief Information Commissioner (CIC) of India, Bimal Julka, as its Chairman.

He will take over from John Loffhagen, who served as the chairman of FIFS for over three years. Loffhagen will assume the role of a strategic advisor and support FIFS on collaborating with relevant international bodies in the industry.

Julka, an IAS officer of 1979 batch of Madhya Pradesh cadre, will work closely with all the industry stakeholders to strengthen the operating standards of the Indian fantasy sports industry.
