Bihar: Six IPS officers shifted

The Bihar government on Monday (05.06.2023) issued transfer and posting orders for six IPS officers.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

1. Sunil Kumar Jha (IPS:1993:BH), ADGP, Technical Services & Wireless, Patna, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, SCRB and Modernisation, Patna.
2. Nirmal Kumar Azad (IPS:1994:BH), ADGP-cum-Additional Commissioner, Civil Security, Patna, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, Technical Services & Wireless, Patna.
3. Dr. Kamal Kishore Singh (IPS:1996:BH), ADGP, SCRB and Modernisation, Patna, has been transferred and posted as ADGP-cum-Additional Commissioner, Civil Security, Patna.
4. Rajesh Kumar (IPS:2003:BH), DIGP, Human Rights, Patna, has been transferred and posted IGP, Bihar Special Armed Police, Patna.
5. Shafiul Haque (IPS:2007:BH), awaiting posting orders, has been posted as DIGP, Bihar Special Armed Police (North Division), Muzaffarpur.
6. Binod Kumar (IPS:2009:BH), awaiting posting orders, DIGP, Bihar Special Armed Police (Central Division), Patna.
