Bihar: Six IAS officers promoted to various grades

The Bihar government on January 1 promoted six IAS officers to various grades, with one elevated to Above Super Time Scale, two to Super Time Scale, and three to Selection Grade. These proforma promotions, effective from January 1, 2025, were granted as all the officers are currently on central deputation.

They are;

Above Super Time Scale (Principal Secretary Rank):

1. Jitendra Srivastava (IAS:2000:BH), Joint Secretary, Department of Drinking Water & Sanitation

Super Time Scale (Secretary Rank):

1. Saket Kumar (IAS:2009:BH), Private Secretary to Home Minister Amit Shah
2. Raman Kumar (IAS:2009:BH), Private Secretary to Giriraj Singh, Minister of Textiles.
3. M Ramachandrudu (IAS:2009:BH), Director of Census Operations(DCO)/Director of Citizen Registration
   (DCR), Bihar

Selection Grade (Special Secretary Rank):

1. Amit Kumar (IAS:2012:BH), Private Secretary to Sarbananda Sonowal, Minister of Ports, Shipping & Waterways
2. Rajesh Meena (IAS:2012:BH), Deputy Director, Lal Bahadur Shastri National Administrative Academy, Mussoorie
