The Bihar government on Thursday (23.03.2023) relieved senior IAS officer Palka Sahni (IAS:2004:BH), Officer on Special Officer (OSD), Bihar Bhawan, New Delhi to enable her to take up the new assignment in the central government as Joint Secretary, Department of Food & Public Distribution.
The central government, on March 6, effected a major bureaucratic reshuffle at the Joint Secretary level by appointing 12 senior officers to new posts in various ministries and departments. Ms. Sahni was given the charge of Joint Secretary, Department of Food & Public Distribution.
