Bihar: Nine IAS officers promoted

The Bihar government issued two promotion orders for IAS officers within a span of two days. The initial order, issued on January 1st, saw the promotion of seven IAS officers from the 2008 batch to the Secretary grade. Subsequently, on January 2nd, a second order was issued, elevating two IAS officers from the 2011 batch to the Selection Grade, specifically to the Special Secretary grade.

IAS officers promoted Secretary grade (2008 batch):

1. Ashima Jain, Special Secretary, Minor Water Resouces Department, Patna
2. B Kartikey Dhanji, State Project Director, Education Project Board, Patna.
3. Pranav Kumar, Collector and District Magistrate, Muzaffarpur.
4. Giriwar Dayal Singh, Sugarcane Commissioner, Patna.
5. Neelam Choudhary, Director, PF Directorate, Patna.
6. Suresh Chaudhary, Settlement Officer, West Champaran, Bettiah.
7. Sanjay Dubey, Special Secretary, Rural Work Department.

IAS officers promoted Special Secretary grade (2011 batch):

1. Himanshu Sharma (Proforma promotion)
2. Deore Nilesh Ramchandra (Proforma promotion)
