The Bihar government on Wednesday (03.07.2024) issued new posting orders for senior IAS officer KK Pathak (IAS:1990:BH), who has been on leave for about a month. He has now been appointed as Chairman-cum-Member of the Revenue Board. Additionally, he will continue to hold the position of Director General of the Bihar Institute of Public Administration & Rural Development (BIPARD).
Previously, the state government had transferred KK Pathak from the Education Department to the post of Additional Chief Secretary in the Revenue and Land Reforms Department. However, he did not join there, leading the state government to cancel the notification of his posting as Additional Chief Secretary in the Revenue Department.
Upon returning from leave, KK Pathak has been directed to contribute to the Revenue Board. Deepak Kumar Singh (IAS:1992:BH) will continue to hold the additional charge as Additional Chief Secretary of the Revenue and Land Reforms Department. Development Commissioner Chaitanya Prasad (IAS:1990:BH) has been relieved from his additional charge as Chairman-cum-Member of the Revenue Board.
In related moves, IAS officer Kamlesh Kumar Singh (IAS:2013:BH) has been transferred from his position as Settlement Officer of Purnia and appointed as Director of Land Acquisition.
