Senior IPS officer Shalin (IPS:2001:BH), presently in the cadre and serving as IG, ATS, Bihar Police, with additional charge of IG, Security, Bihar, has been recommended for central deputation by the Ministry of Home Affairs. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Tuesday (01.04.2025), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of MHA for waiving of the cooling-off period, granted in relaxation of the IPS Tenure Policy.
