Bihar: Four IAS officers transferred; Jitendra Gupta posted as JS in Finance

The Bihar government on Monday (September 29, 2025) issued transfer and posting orders for four IAS officers.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

1. Kanwal Tanuj (IAS:2010:BH), Secretary, Minor Water Resources Department, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Planning & Development.
2. Dr. Jitendra Gupta (IAS:2013:BH), Joint Secretary, Bihar State Planning Board, has been transferred and posted as Joint Secretary, Finance Department.
3. Krishna Chandra Gupta (IAS:2025:BH) has been posted as OSD, Home Department.
4. Nishant Sihara (IAS:2022:BH), awaiting posting orders, has been posted as OSD in GAD.
