The Bihar government on Friday announced a three months extension for the senior bureaucrat and the chief secretary Tripurari Sharan (IAS:1985:BH). He was schedule to retire from the government job on June 30 this year on completion of 60 years of age, but now after the service extension, he will retire on September 30, 2021.
The central government on Thursday (24.06.2021) approved the Bihar government’s request for the extension of service of state Chief Secretary.
Sharan was appointed as the State Chief Secretary on May 1 this year, a day after the sudden demise of his predecessor and batch-mate Arun Kumar Singh (IAS:1985:BH) due to covid infection.
