Bihar : A K Singh appointed new Chief Secretary, Subhani as Development Commissioner

The Bihar government on Sunday appointed senior most IAS officer of the cadre Arun kumar Singh (IAS:1985:BH) as Chief Secretary of the state as incumbent Deepak Kumar (IAS:1984:BH) completed his extended term on 28.02.2021.

Mr. Singh, who is currently Development Commissioner with additional charge of DG, Bihar Institute of Public Administration and Rural Development (BIPARD), will take up his new assignment on March 01, 2021.

Further, Subhani (IAS:1987:BH), was appointed as Development Commissioner, Bihar with additional charge of DG, Bihar Institute of Public Administration and Rural Development (BIPARD)/Vigilance. Previously, he was Additional Chief Secretary, Home Department, Bihar.
