The Bihar government on Friday (13.09.2024) effected important changes in police administration by issuing transfer orders for nine senior IPS officers. Among them, eight are of ADGP rank.
The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;
- S Ravindran (IPS:1995:BH), ADGP, SAP, Patna with additional charge of ADGP, Bihar State Sports Authority, Patna, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, Bihar State Sports Authority, Patna with additional charge of Bihar State Sports Academy, Rajgir.
- Pankaj Kumar Darad (IPS:1995:BH), ADGP, awaiting posting orders in PHQ, has been posted as ADGP, ATS with additional charge of ADGP, Special Vigilance Unit.
- Dr. Amit Kumar Jain (IPS:1996:BH), ADGP, Bihar Human Rights Commission, Patna, has been given additional charge of ADGP (Weaker Section Division), CID.
- Sudhanshu Kumar (IPS:1996:BH), ADGP, Traffic, Patna, has been given additional charge of ADGP-cum- Additional Commissioner, Civil Defence.
- Sunil Kumar (IPS:1996:BH), ADGP, Special Branch, Patna with additional charge of ADGP, CID, Patna, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, Special Branch with additional charge of ADGP, EOW.
- Kamal Kishore Singh (IPS:1996:BH), ADGP-cum- Additional Commissioner, Civil Defence with additional charge of DGP-cum-Commissioner, Civil Defence, Patna, has been transferred and posted as ADGP (Budget, Appeal & Welfare), Patna.
- Paras Nath (IPS:1996:BH), ADGP (Budget, Appeal & Welfare), Patna, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, CID, Patna.
- M R Nayak (IPS:1998:BH), ADGP, ATS, Patna, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, SAP, Patna.
- Ms. Kim (IPS:2008:BH), DIG, SAP, Patna, has been transferred and posted as DIG, CID, Patna.
