Bihar: 7 IPS officers transferred; Rakesh Rathi posted as IG of Spl Branch

The Bihar government on Sunday (22.06.2025) issued transfer and posting orders for 7 IPS officers across the state.

The names of the officers and their posting are as follows;

1. Rakesh Rathi (IPS:2002:BH), IG, Technical Services & Telecommunication, with additional charge of IG, Special Branch, Patna, has been transferred and posted as IG, Special Branch, Patna.
2. Jitendra Rana (IPS:2005:IG), IG, awaiting posting orders, has been posted as IG, Central Range, Patna.
3. Garima Malik (IPS:2006:IG), IG, Central Range, Patna, has been transferred and posted as IG, State Vigilance Department.
4. S Premalatha (IPS:2007:BH), IG, State Vigilance Department, has been transferred and posted as IG, Technical Services & Telecommunication.
5. Manoj Kumar Tiwari (IPS:2012:BH), SP, CID, Patna, has been transferred and posted as SP, Siwan.
6. Amitesh Kumar (IPS:2016:BH), SP, Siwan, has been transferred and posted as SP (Security), Special Branch, Patna.
7. K Ramdas (IPS:2019:BH), SP-cum-Assistant Director, Bihar Police Academy, Rajgir.
