Bihar : 28 IAS officers including 14 DMs transferred

The Bihar Government on Mondya announced the transfer of 28 IAS officers in the state. As many as 14 District Magistrates were shifted in the bureaucratic reshuffle.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows:

1. Harjot Kaur Bamrah (IAS:1992:BH) : Principal Secretary-cum-Mining Commissioner, Mining and Geology Department with additional charge, Bihar State Women Development Corporation, Patna.
2. Vijay Lakshami N (IAS:1995:BH) : Principal Secretary, Sugarcane Industry Department.
3. N Sarwan Kumar (IAS:2000:BH) : Secretary, Agriculture Department with additional charge of Secretary, Animal and Fish Resources Department.
4. Pankaj Kumar Pal (IAS:2002:BH) : Secretary, Food & Consumer Protection Department with additional charge of MD, State Food Corporation.
5. Poonam (IAS:2005:RJ) : Special Secretary, Agriculture Department.
6. Rahul Ranjan Mahiwal (IAS:2005:MH) : Special Secretary, Rural Development Department.
7. Anirudh Kumar (IAS:2005:BH) : Special Secretary, Home.
8. Dharmendra Singh (IAS:2006:BH) : Director, Fisheries with additional charge of Special Secretary, Animal and Fish Resources Development.
