Bihar: 12 IAS & 6 IPS officers transferred

Patna, May 20, 2025: The Bihar government on Tuesday issued transfer and posting orders for 12 IAS and 6 IPS officers, bringing notable changes to the state’s administrative setup.

The names of the IAS officers and their postings are as follows;

1. Dr. Preeti (IAS:2019:BH), Municipal Commissioner, Bhagalpur Municipal Corporation, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC)-cum-CEO, Zila Parishad, Jahanabad.
2. Dr. Anupma Singh (IAS:2020:BH), Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC)-cum-CEO, Zila Parishad, Bhojpur, Arrah, has been transferred and posted as Joint Secretary, Health Department, Patna.
3. Gunjan Singh (IAS:2020:BH), Officer on Special Duty (OSD), Health Department, Patna, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC)-cum-CEO, Zila Parishad, Bhojpur, Arrah.
4. Subham Kumar (IAS:2021:BH), Sub-Divisional Officer, Barh, Patna, has been transferred and posted as Municipal Commissioner, Bhagalpur Municipal Corporation.
5. Shailja Pandey (IAS:2021:BH), Sub-Divisional Officer, Forbesganj, Araria, has been transferred and posted Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC)-cum-CEO, Zila Parishad, Samastipur.
6. Shivakshi Dixit (IAS:2021:BH), Sub-Divisional Officer, Raxaul, East Champaran, has been transferred and posted as Municipal Commissioner, Munger Municipal Corporation.
7. Surya Pratap Singh (IAS:2021:BH), Sub-Divisional Officer, Dehri-on-Sone, Rohtas, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC)-cum-CEO, Zila Parishad, Kaimur, Bhabua.
8. Praveen Kumar (IAS:2021:BH), Sub-Divisional Officer, Hilsa, Nalanda, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC)-cum-CEO, Zila Parishad, Begusarai.
9. Akash Chaudhary (IAS:2021:BH), Sub-Divisional Officer, Rosera, Samastipur, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC)-cum-CEO, Zila Parishad, Buxar.
10. Sara Ashraf (IAS:2021:BH), Sub-Divisional Officer, Sherghati, Gaya, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC)-cum-CEO, Zila Parishad, Supaul.
11. Anil Basak (IAS:2021:BH), Sub-Divisional Officer, Vikramganj, Rohtas, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC)-cum-CEO, Zila Parishad, Madhepura.
12. Laxman Tiwari (IAS:2021:BH), Sub-Divisional Officer, Chapra Sadar (Saran), has been transferred and posted as Municipal Commissioner, Bettiah Municipal Corporation.

1. Rajeev Ranjan (IPS:2012:BH), SP, EOW, Patna, has been transferred and posted as SP, SCRB, Patna.
2. Rakesh Kumar Sinha (IPS:2012:BH), SP, Lokayukta, has been transferred and posted as SP, Vigilance Departmen, Patna.
3. Pankaj Kumar (IPS:2013:BH), SP, SCRB, Patna, has been transferred and posted as SP, EOW, Patna.
4. Anant Kumar Rai (IPS:2016:BH), Commandant, Bihar Special Armed Police-16, Patna, has been transferred and posted as Assistant IG, Traffic Patna.
5. Manish Kumar Sinha (IPS:2018:BH), SP (Security), Special Branch, Patna, has been transferred and posted as Commandant, Special Security Force (SSF), Patna with additional charge of SP (Security), Special Branch, Patna.
6. Rajesh Kumar (IPS:2018:BH), Commandant, Special Security Force, Patna, has been transferred and posted as Commandant, Bihar Armed Police-16, Patna.
