Bhuvnesh Kumar gets addl. charge of CEO, UIDAI

Bhuvnesh Kumar (IAS:1995:UP), Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), has been given ex-post facto assignment of additional charge of CEO of Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI).

According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Wednesday (05.03.2025), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved ex-post facto assignment of additional charge to Mr Kumar with effect from 01.01.2025 for a period of six months or till appointment of a regular incumbent or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
