Bhupendra Singh Paraste (SAS-RR:2014) has been appointed as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Minister for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare & Rural Development, for four years. His appointment specially pertains to Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Saturday (16.11.2024), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Mr. Paraste for the period of four years or co-terminus basis or till he ceases to function as Private Secretary to the Minister or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
He will assume of the post at Deputy Secretary level.
