Bhanwar Lal Meena inducted as SP in CBI

Bhanwar Lal Meena (IPS:2013:AM) was on Thursday (05.11.2024) inducted as Superintendent of Police (SP) in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Earlier, he served as Director in the Central Detective Training Institute (under BPR&D) Kolkata and laterally shifted to CBI as SP. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved proposal of DoPT (AV Division) to induct Mr Meen in CBI for combined period of five years, i.e. 18.04.2024 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
