The Banks Board Bureau (BBB) has recommended 10 names for being appointed as Executive Director in various Public Sector Banks (PSBs) in the FY 2021-2022. This recommendation came after the BBB interviewed 40 candidates from various PSBs on July 02 and 03. The selected candidates may be appointed as ED subject to the availability of vacancies in the panel year 2021–22.
The names of those who have been recommended by the BBB are:

- Joydeep Dutta Roy
- Nidhu Saxena
- Kalyan Kumar
- Ashwani Kumar
- Ramjass Yadav
- Asheesh Pandey
- Ashok Chandra
- A V Rama Rao
- Shiv Bajrang Singh
The list of selected candidates would be sent to the department of financial services to get the Appointments Committee of Cabinet (ACC) approval.
